Protein apple crumble

These high pritein apple crumbles are so easy to make and make a great dessert, or healthy snack for after the gym. 

 

You will need:

4 red apples (use these instead of cooking apples so you dont need to add sugar to the mix)

1 teaspoon of cinnamon 

1 teaspoon maple syrup

1 scooop vanilla whey

1 cup greek yoghurt 

2 cups oats

1 cut ground almonds 

2 teaspoon coconut oil

Optional: Extra nuts and seeds for topping

How you do it:

1. Boil the apples in water with the cinnamon and maple syrup. Once soft, puree them in a blender or with a hand blender. 
2. Mix the oats, almonds and melted coconut oil in a bowl (add some almond flakes for some crunch)
3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the oats out flat. Bake on 160 degrees for 10 minutes. Leave to cool. 
4.Mix the greek yogurt with vanilla protein

5. Assemble them as we have in the picture
