Benefits of drinking a fresh juice everyday


At The Skinny Kitchen we LOVE fresh juice, and its one of our biggest sellers. We make all our from scratch, every time you order so when we say fresh we mean fresh. But what are the benefits to drinking a fresh juice everyday? Is this something you should be considering in your diet? Let’s take a look…

1. Its really healthy…

We all know that getting fruit and veg into your diet is important, drinking a juice is just a quick and easy way to do so. Your body finds this easier to digest and its absorbed much quicker than if you ate it, in fact it only takes around 15 minutes! A fresh juice is packed with enzymes, vitamins and minerals that can help give you more energy, detoxify your body and can help if your feeling run down or ill.

2. Something to help everything…

There are so many juice combinations and you can pick a combination based on results you want. Feeling tired then try a green juice packed with iron. Got a cold, opt for fresh orange and carrot juice. Need energy for fitness, get some beetroot in there. The list goes on!

3. Help with sugar cravings

Fruit contains naturally occurring sugar, and while this is still sugar, its way better for you than something processed. So if your craving something sweet make yourself a sweet juice with fresh apples, or pears, for example.

4. Variety…

Hate celery? Well you might like it in a juice! Many veggies don’t really have much flavour, we don’t eat them because, well, munching on them raw isn't really that appealing. By juicing stuff you wouldn't usually eat you will get so much more variety in your diet. Think of things you usually walk past in the fruit and veg isle because eating it seems like way too much effort (cook fresh beetroot!?) or unappealing (back to you, celery)
