Sweet potato burger buns
A burger doesnt always need to come between two slices of bread. There are many vegetables you can slice up and replcae the burger bun with, if you want a really low carb burger. We've tried beef tomatoes, portobella mushrooms and aubergine but one of our favourites is the oven baked sweet potato bun!
You will need:
1 sweet potato
1 burger (Make you own! Recipe coming soon)
Cheese and salad to go inside (optional)
How you do it:
1. You can peel the sweet potato if you want, but really youd just taking away some of its goodness! Chop the potato into one centimetre thick slices
2. Lay them onto a baking tray. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper if you like. Put in the oven at 200 degrees and bake for 25-30 mins.
3. Meanwhile, cook your burger
4. Assemble your burger and enjoy!
